The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon – the traditional mystical Eastern wisdom we have always adhered to, believing that the ancient Chinese medical theory of the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon is scientific and an advanced scientific theory.
The earliest mention of the Huangdi Neijing was in the reference section of the Book of Han (or the History of the Han Dynasty, completed in 111 AD), which is one of the most important medical classics of ancient China and has had a profound impact on the use and development of herbal medicine.

The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon reveals the ancients’ profound insights into health, illness, and longevity, proposing the concept of “harmony between man and nature” and the theory of “yin-yang and five elements,” emphasizing the holistic life of the human body and its harmony with nature. People strive to prevent illness and prolong life, and the book also describes traditional treatment methods that have been proven effective in China and are being further studied by modern scholars to meet the challenges of modern medicine.
The wisdom of the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon is fully demonstrated in its integration with traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine treatments, including herbal medicine, are an important part of Chinese medicine, and have close ties to the theories in the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon. For example, the “four qi and five flavors” theory in the book is a proper description of the properties of herbs, guiding doctors to choose the appropriate medicines based on the patient’s constitution and condition.
The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon also emphasizes the concept of “medicine and food originating from the same source,” which holds that many foods themselves have medicinal value and can be used to regulate the body in daily life. This concept not only enriches the methods of traditional Chinese medicine treatment but also provides more choices for modern people to maintain their health. In addition, the combination and application of Chinese herbs are also one of the important features of traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Although the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon does not list specific formulas in detail, it adds the principle of “ruler, minister, assistant, and messenger” in combination to provide important theoretical basis for later doctors to formulate formulas. This principle requires doctors to fully utilize the interactions and synergistic effects of drugs to achieve the optimal therapeutic effect.
The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon not only emphasizes the importance of disease treatment, but also stresses the significance of preventive health care, advocating the concept of “treating diseases before they occur.” This means using herbs and other means to prevent and treat diseases before they occur. The development of traditional Chinese medicine’s preventive medicine has made Chinese herbs play an important role in nutrition and health care. As an important classic of traditional Chinese medicine, the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon provides valuable theoretical foundations and practical guidance for the study and application of Chinese herbs, and its influence extends beyond China, offering important insights for traditional medicine worldwide.
We follow the ancient Chinese herbal method – the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon: not only a monumental work of traditional Chinese medicine, but also a fundamental work of traditional Chinese medicine.
Currently, most people do not use traditional Chinese medicine correctly, and over-boiling can destroy the original medicine’s efficacy. If traditional Chinese medicine is not handled according to the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon and is directly boiled with high-pressure, high-temperature water, most of the effective components will be destroyed, such as the loss of volatile oil and the extraction of thermosensitive components that are not soluble in water. Therefore, 90% of the effective components are wasted, and the formula’s effect is greatly diminished, especially for so-called concentrated scientific traditional Chinese medicine, which is mainly in the form of powder and has almost zero efficacy. The order of saponins in the ginseng fivefold concentrated solution is the same as that of the ginseng chicken soup saponins, and the saponins in the ginseng chicken soup are completely wasted. This is also why it is absolutely necessary to follow the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon and not change it.
In summary, using chemical fertilizers to grow large-scale traditional Chinese medicine will render the formula ineffective, and products that are not made according to the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon may lose 90% of their functions!
